Chocolate Raffle
The ACS Silicon Valley Local Section had an information booth at SciMix in San Diego with other ACS local sections. SVACS officers displayed a poster of the section’s past year of activities, drawing in visitors with offers of free Ghirardelli chocolate! The upcoming Western Regional Meeting in San Jose in October 2025 was also featured.
A highlight of the SciMix evening was the raffle of 3 chocolate troves, including a 10-pound bar of Guittard bittersweet chocolate donated by Howard and Sally Peters, aka Mr. & Mrs. Chocolate! Below are the three lucky chocolate raffle winners.
